Index Laws:
An index is a power. It tells you how many times you are supoosed to multiply a number by itself.

Example: 2⁵ = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 = 32

Laws:
xª * xᵇ = x⁽ª⁺

Example: 3² x 3³ = 3⁵ = 243

xª ÷ xᵇ = x⁽ª⁻

Example: 4⁷ - 4⁵ = 4² = 16

(xª)ᵇ = xª

Example: (2⁴)⁶ = 2²⁴= 16777216

x⁻ª = 1 ÷ (xª)

Example: 5⁻³ = 1 ÷ 5³ = 1 ÷ 125

x^(1 ÷ a) = a root x

Example: 6^(1 ÷ 3) = cube root 6 = 1.8171205928321396588912117563273
