Probability:

´╗┐Probability is the chance of something happening or not happening.
The chance of something happening is 1 - the chance of it not happening.

Example:
P(it raining tomorrow) = ?
P(it not raining tomorrow) = 0.7
P(it raining tomorrow)

The probability of something happening or another thing happening = P(no.1) + P(no.2)

Example:
P(picking a green marble in a bag) = 0.45
P(picking a purple marble in a bag) = 0.3

P(picking a purple or green marble in a bag) = P(picking a green marble in a bag) + P(picking a purple marble in a bag) = 0.45 + 0.3 = 0.75

The Probability of something happening and another thing happening = P(no.1) x P(no.2)

Example:
P(flipping a tails) = 0.5
P(flipping a heads) = 0.5

P(Flipping heads and then tails) = P(flipping a heads) x P(flipping a tails) = 0.5 x 0.5 = 0.25

Graphs

There are 4 common types of graphs

The first one is a Histogram:

Bar Charts are normally used to how much of something or how many times something happens to certain articles.

The next one is a Pie Chart:

Pie charts are normally used to see what percentage of people do certain things.

The last one is a Line Graph
